Bpifrance le Hub and France Digitale unveil the 1st Mapping of French Startups with Impact
The number of impact startups, those that address environmental and social issues, is increasing in France. In an unprecedented mapping, Bpifrance and France Digitale now count 727 of them for 4.4 billion euros invested. The social, environmental and economic impact of business has become a strategic issue in our current generation.
The two actors screened French startups using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as an impact assessment grid. These are 17 environmental, social and economic priorities set by the UN for 2030. They include, for example, the fight against hunger, access to quality education, the fight against climate change and the reduction of inequalities.
All these startups are listed: the 1st mapping of startups with Impact. MyEasyFarm is proud to be listed in the category Environment, under the category Agriculture & Food and under the category Agro-Equipment.
"With this mapping, we see the emergence of a new generation of entrepreneurs concerned about their impact on society. This movement is not a weak signal but a groundswell," explains Frédéric Mazzella, co-founder of BlaBlaCar and co-president of France Digitale. "The aim here is to give visibility and legibility to this ecosystem with this first mapping, which will be updated every year," explains Frédéric Mazzella.
