MyEasyFarm will participate in openAg's Gigaton Carbon Target, a series of global initiatives to achieve the goal of reducing carbon emissions by one gigaton by 2040. The climate emergency demands that we be bold, disruptive and innovative for the future. That's why Carrier has set a goal of reducing the carbon footprint of its consumers by one gigaton of carbon by 2030.
Between 2021 and 2024, the Gigaton Carbon target will first follow a pilot phase in Brazil, Argentina, India, the United States and some European countries, followed by a ramp-up phase from 2025 to 2040 worldwide.
MyEasyFarm, with its MyEasyCarbon solution, will help Brazilian and global farmers to reduce their GHG emissions in order to reach the gigatonne carbon reduction target
The future of agriculture must be climate positive, and re-carbonisation of global soils not only brings immediate environmental benefits but offers a new income source for farmers. UPL's OpenAg® purpose places collaboration at the heart of progress, and if there is one thing we can learn from football is the power of team spirit to inspire extraordinary change and reach extraordinary goals.
