A number of pioneers in the field of carbon valorization in agriculture have joined forces to support the decarbonization of agriculture, a key sector in the fight against climate change, and in particular to encourage the adoption of agroecology, by associating carbon finance mechanisms with it.
The alliance also has a role to play in building confidence in the agricultural carbon market, including the development of a tool to avoid double-counting of emissions reductions and carbon capture by farmers participating in multiple carbon payment programs.
The founding members of the association are the 8 young companies Farmleap, Gaïago, Terraterre, Soil Capital, Carbone farmers, Rize ag, MyEasyFarm and Genesis.
