A number of pioneers in the field of carbon valorization in agriculture have joined forces to support the decarbonization of agriculture, a key sector in the fight against climate change, and in particular to encourage the adoption of agroecology, by associating carbon finance mechanisms with it.
The alliance also has a role to play in building confidence in the agricultural carbon market, including the development of a tool to avoid double-counting of emissions reductions and carbon capture by farmers participating in multiple carbon payment programs.
The founding members of the association are the eight startups Farmleap, Gaïago, Terraterre, Soil Capital, Carbone Farmers, Rize Ag, MyEasyFarm Genesis.
