2nd Place: MyEasyFarm - The startup presented a planning and tracking solution, consisting of two products, both related to digital agriculture: MyEasyFarm, which gathers grower data, generates agronomic recommendations, and evaluates those recommendations, in addition to generating satellite maps, and MyEasyCarbon, which measures the carbon storage and emissions of each farming operation, and helps the grower make decisions that can reduce those emissions.
Open innovation
Smart Farm Mapa Conecta is one of the strategies of the Agro Hub Brasil program, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa), which aims to bring agritechs closer to gas pedals and investors, creating an enabling environment for networking, technology transfer and dissemination of new products and services capable of meeting the demands and overcoming the limitations of the agricultural sector. These are challenges that bring together potential opportunities to mobilize public and private resources for the development of technology companies focused on agri.
The initiative has already been carried out for the areas of crop-livestock-forest integration, digital agriculture, animal protein and citriculture, and is essential to encourage technological culture in the agricultural sector, which is essential for the country, following the global trend of sustainable development and open innovation.
