MyEasyFarm and Seqana Webinar: Measuring What Matters: Analysis of LSRS Data and Agricultural Land Monitoring Requirements

No more guesswork in the agri-food industry’s climate reporting: the new LSRS standard now requires accurate primary data to demonstrate your carbon reductions. Learn how to achieve compliance at scale.

GHG Protocol ’s Land Sector and Removals Standard (LSRS) GHG Protocol redefining how agri-food companies account for their climate impact.

Effective starting with the 2026 reporting year, the LSRS mandates a crucial change: companies can no longer rely on average and imprecise emission factors. To credibly claim carbon sequestration and meet Science-Based Targets (SBTi), companies must now collect primary, empirical data at the highly granular level of the Land Management Unit ( LMU).

But how can we collect, track, and verify this data on a large scale within complex global supply chains?

To address these challenges, join Guillaume Vial (MyEasyFarm) and Julian Kremers (Seqana) on May 19 at 4:00 p.m. for a 45-minute deep dive into the specific requirements of the LSRS. This session will break down what the new standard actually requires of agricultural projects and demonstrate how the combination of digital monitoring (dMRV) and digital soil mapping (DSM) makes compliance with the LSRS achievable, scalable, and verifiable.

What's on the agenda for this webinar:

  • An Analysis of the LSRS’s Core Requirements: Understanding Why High-Quality Monitoring Is the Ultimate Challenge for Food and Beverage Companies.

  • The specific data to be collected: A detailed overview of the frequency, the required levels of traceability, and the necessary transition to LMUs.

  • Scaling Up Empirical Monitoring: How to Use Digital Soil Mapping and Remote Sensing to Streamline Your Data Collection.

  • Practical Applications: Feedback and lessons learned from our joint EIT project on the implementation of these new standards.

  • The highlight of this session: A 15-minute live Q&A session is scheduled at the end of the presentation, giving you the opportunity to interact directly with our experts and clear up any questions you may have about the LSRS.
