Closing the data gap with DjustConnect
Seamless data management is central to agricultural performance, but connectivity between different pieces of equipment can sometimes be a challenge. To address this, MyEasyFarm relies on DjustConnect, a data-sharing platform managed by ILVO (Flemish Institute for Agricultural, Fisheries, and Food Research).
This integration allows for the seamless connection of the MyEasyFarm platform to AVR equipment. A key feature of the system: data is shared only with the farmer’s explicit consent, thereby ensuring a secure exchange.
What this means in practice for potato farmers
By becoming a DjustConnect partner, MyEasyFarm can receive high-precision harvest data directly from AVR Connect, the manufacturer’s online reporting tool. Farmers now benefit from the automatic exchange of the following information:
Parcel boundaries and coordinates to streamline farm management.
Detailed yield maps from AVR harvesters to visualize productivity.
Key technical indicators used to optimize crop management and reduce input costs.
Reliable data for sustainable results
This data feedback loop enables farmers to turn raw data into concrete actions to reduce input use and improve profitability. This initiative is also part of the European Horizon Data4Food2030 project, which aims to improve the data economy for food systems.
As François Thierart, CEO of MyEasyFarm, explains: “Because you can only manage what you measure, this partnership with AVR is a key step for our users […] By integrating AVR’s high-precision yield maps, we help farmers transform raw data into concrete decisions to successfully navigate their agroecological transition.”.
Enhanced universal compatibility
Already ISOBUS-certified since 2017 and compatible with more than 50 agricultural control panels, MyEasyFarm is strengthening its position as a central hub for agri-food data aggregation through this integration with AVR.
